Song: "Satellite" by Dave Matthews Band

Went out last night and saw Return of the King and, by far, the best movie I've ever seen. I was astounded by how Peter Jackson could do all of that. Despite the multiple endings, I loved it, and plan on seeing it many times again. I must go buy the soundtrack.

Song: "So Much To Say" by Dave Matthews Band

Meh, busy week. The concert on Thursday rocked, especially the jazz band. Can't get The Chicken out of my head now. And we owe it to Adam, the geek of all geeks to have the recordings up a few hours after the concert was over.

So, since Sunday night, I have been really sick, couldn't sleep all night, pretty much stayed in bed with stomach pains and a headache all Monday, and here I am Tuesday with a fever and a headache still. Plus I have alot of Bio work to catch up on. So basically I'm sitting here trying to work on this damned DNA model. Oh well, at least I'm not putting it off like the procrastinator I am.

Song: "Bouree" by Jethro Tull

What a week. No longer able to bring in Gamecube to school when S is out, since he found out somehow. Agh, concert this Thursday, and my lips will be shot after Jazz. So concert band should be interesting for me. Brass ensemble gets out of school Friday for Christmas Castle. WHOOOOO!

Have done my X-mas list. Seems long this year. Oh well, I expect to get less than half of what I asked for anyway. I set up the tree as well, and when I say "I", I mean myself of course. Put it together, did the lights, did the beads, did the ornaments. Now I just need to decorate my room, which I was never good at. Add it to my "Things to do" list.

One thing that will always bug me about winter (which technically it's still fall) is shoveling. Don't get me wrong, I love winter. But shoveling six inches of snow yesterday and another foot this morning can hurt your back, especially if you're the only one doing it.

Billiards no Ojisama. Heh...

Song: "Neodammerung" by Don Davis

Been making more cd covers for my anime, though my ink is low. Went and saw Elf again, this time with Carissa. I always thought comedies were better the second time you saw it. Then again, it's like that with every movie. I am convinced that my body will make it into the movie theaters at least four times for Return of the King. My wall has become quite the RotK shrine.

Song: "Hey Jupiter" by Tori Amos

Have uploaded my semi pic, seems like a nice one of me, though the picture seems too dark. I'll never let my mother take pictures again.

Song: "Tank!" by Yoko Kanno

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

My last two days have been spent burning my stuff to cds. Picked up 55 blank disks, and now am getting rid of what is taking up my hard drive space. That includes all 26 episodes of Trigun, all 26 episodes and the movie of Cowboy Bebop, all 22 episodes and the movie of Ghost in the Shell, the first ten chapters of Star Wars: Clone Wars, and the first ten episodes of The OC. I bet my computer feels better now.

Of course, with me getting rid of this stuff, means more is coming. More downloads in my list, including The Two Towers Extended, The Matrix Revolutions, Kill Bill, Need for Speed: Underground, Norton Systemworks, The Animatrix, and episodes 11 and 12 of The OC. *Quagmire* Awlright!

Song: "Way Away" by Yellowcard

This past week has been interesting.

Jazz is going good. Hopefully we can get The Chicken down pretty good, because the concert will blow without that song. Pots and Pans is easy, and My Ship even easier. Hopefully concert band won't sound like crap either.

This weekend was alright. Played tennis with Chris and my brother alot. Tried Need for Speed: Underground, and it's definitely going on my Christmas list, along with The Return of the King game. Speaking of which, I finally picked up a RotK poster. And I was feeling like myself today enough to save my LotR popcorn bag from the movies.

So I went to the movies. Finally saw Master and Commander, and was quite pleased. A few funny elements, historically correct, and very good battle sequences.
AJ's Rating: 9 out of 10
The only ones I give 10's are LotR, Star Wars, Pirates-like movies. You know, made for geeks like me to enjoy. Geez, ever since I've started going with Garrett and everyone to the movies, I've been in the theaters more times in one year than I did from age 5-13.

Song: "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley

Quite the interesting day yesterday. Went down to help out for Regionals at 8 AM, audutioned around 10:30 (though my time was supposed to be 9:48). Words cannot describe how nervous I was. And, because of that, I forgot the A Major scale. It only occurred to me going down the scale that I was supposed to play C#, F# and G#. Thanks to that and all those damned flat accidentals in the Site-reading, I scored an overall 97, which SUCKS. Wasn't too happy about that. Oh well, next year I will try harder, practice more, and make it better.

Around 11:30 I went with Brandan, Tim, Justin, Garrett, Fruity, Matt, Dustin, and Tim's brother to China Star and ELF. Though we were the biggest ones in theater, we were the ones laughing the hardest. After that, I went back home and hung around.

Went to the Semi-formal at 7. Basically hung around with Brandan and Tim, stepped aside and let them dance the slow dances with their dates. At least I got the last dance in with Kelsey. That's all I really needed.

Song: random trumpet scales

Added a new fanlisting for The O.C.

Fun setting up for Regionals. Now I have to do them tomorrow morning. God. wish me luck, so that I don't forget all the scales and lose my sense of site-reading from being overly nervous.

Song: "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve

YES!! FINALLY!!! I was getting ticked off at my web browser. I almost took my mouse and hit myself in the head multiple times for not thinking of "opening the link in a new window." About damn time. The last one was old by September first. Decided I would rather put up what song I was listening to rather than my feelings, which sometimes are hard to summarize into 1-4 words.

Anime-wise, spent the last three days catching up on watching my PoT episodes. Finished 95 this afternoon, then decided to check AnimeSuki, and low-and-behold episode 96 appeared. Other than that and the episode of The O.C. that aired last night, I've got no downloads. Just doesn't seem like me at all.

-The shape of things
Spike Speigel from, of course, Cowboy Bebop. The song, Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve, was part of a Bebop AMV I downloaded awhile ago, and have liked it since. And, "Bang..." being the last word spoken in the last episode of Bebop. Capped the image off of the last episode, then used the blur tool on the borders in Adobe Photoshop 7.0.
